The first Pre-photo shoot
Here is my first pre-photo shoot for the front covers of CD's. I wanted to make sure the images made the viewer believe the model was in a high ranked postion hence the image taken below him, the green room was he place i had to take th imags in because i just wanted to get a feel of what it can be like once i start to take the real photo's obviously if i take the images i have to edit the background so for example the colouring inside in the green room, i also had to be aware of the lighting, there was a shadow and you can see the darkness on one side of his face, just for this photo i had to angle the light so that it can reflect the bright rays that portray his face. With the settings of the camera i had to make sure it was auto because at this moment i time we are using the SLR cameras, with the introduction of auto cameras they have te ability to guide you when taking the images, so for example its not like a manual camera where you have to do everything yourself. The advantage of this is that you can determine the way image will be and the composition of the image itself. I will probably not use the green room because of the lack of atmosphere in it, so i rather take the shoot outside where the atmosphere is a bit more euphoric and pleasant plus i might want a setting that can show the artistry of the photos.
